What we are
We connect Lubbock-area homeowners with independent local lawn care, landscaping, sprinkler and tree companies for free, no-obligation quotes. You tell us about your yard once, and companies that work in your part of town can reply with their own prices.
We are not a lawn care company. We do not send anyone to your home, and we do not do any mowing, landscaping, irrigation, tree or treatment work. The independent company you choose sets its own prices, schedules its own visits and is solely responsible for its work.
Lubbock Lawn Care Pros is an independent quote service and is not affiliated with any lawn care company of a similar name.
How it works
Tell us about the yard
Use the free quote form to share your address or ZIP, the service you want and any timing. Lot size, grass type and gate access help.
Local companies reply
We pass the request to independent companies that serve your area. We usually reply the same day, and companies contact you directly with questions or a quote.
You compare and decide
Compare price, scope and schedule. There is no obligation to hire anyone, and the agreement is between you and the company.
The step-by-step process page explains each stage, and the lawn care prices guide shows typical ranges so you know what a fair quote looks like.
Texas license rules every homeowner should know
Some lawn work in Texas requires a state license. We hold no such license and perform no services, so check the company you hire.
- Weed, insect and grub treatments: In Texas, anyone who applies weed killers, insect or grub control, or other pesticides to a lawn for hire must hold a Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) applicator license. Fertilizer-only applications do not require one. Before you hire, ask for the company's TDA license number and verify it with TDA. Weed-and-feed products contain herbicide.
- Sprinklers and irrigation: In Texas, sprinkler and irrigation installation, repair and maintenance for hire must be done by, or under the supervision of, a TCEQ-licensed Landscape Irrigator, whose LI license number must appear on their advertising. Homeowners may work on their own home's system. Ask for the LI number and verify it with TCEQ. Backflow testing requires a TCEQ-licensed backflow prevention assembly tester.
- Tree work: Texas does not have a state license for tree trimming, so ask about insurance, experience and whether an ISA Certified Arborist is on the job (ISA is a private credential; verify at isa-arbor.com). Tree spraying or injection for hire requires a TDA pesticide license.
This is general information, not legal advice. Our Texas lawn care license guide goes into more detail.
